Okay, so can I just note how much different this animation is from the animation of the other series?
Because, honestly, this animation is absolutely gorgeous, and it really captures the emotion of the scene perfectly.
Look at the top panel. They didn’t forget about the cut in her shirt or the cuts on her face. They have scratch marks and dirt on her. And look at the smoke. I can practically feel the rumble of their clashing energies at the end of that scene. See that subtle shake? Yeah, that’s called quality animation. I feel like I’m right there.
And the expressions. Goodness, look at her face everyone. She has this moment of absolute horror, and she’s twitching. You can see her muscles clench up before locking, and you can pinpoint the exact moment where she realizes “Oh shit, something’s wrong”. There’s also the subtle movement in her lips, and the way her mouth aligns to every word and-
